A mystery bidder has paid $28 million for a three-minute space trip with Jeff Bezos. The bidding started at $4.8 million and reached the winning bid in less than 10 minutes. That’s three times longer than the time they will spend in space onboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard. The bidder will fly with Bezos, his brother Mark, and one other passenger on July 20, with an overall flying time of about 11 minutes in Blue Origin’s first mission flying humans.
